The Friday Phrase
Couldn’t agree more!
Fabulous idioms for Friday afternoon
Today’s idiom is take your breath away.
If something takes your breath away, it astonishes and surprises you or overwhelms you with its beauty or grandeur.
One of our dear students, Sara (specialization: Orchard Management) sent us the image below to share with you all.
So have a great weekend and if you see something that takes your breath away, why not take a photo of it and maybe share it with us here.

Getting hired in Korea
When do Korean schools / teaching institutions hire teachers?
Teachers are hired in Korea all year round. Generally, there are a few spikes in the year where the most recruitment / hiring activity is going on.
Recruiting for the winter Season
The winter season is one of the busiest times for schools in Korea.
It is also when many teachers are finishing up their contract, and when
employers are preparing to hire (or rehire) their staff for the spring
semester.
November-December is also a time when the Winter Camp recruitment drive begins. Winter
Camps usually run for 2-3 weeks and are a cool way to earn some extra
money while you are on your break, so look out for those each year.
January-February is one of the busiest times of the year where many teachers are hired and contracts are signed for the spring semester – this is a good time to look for a job in a university or public school.
June is the beginning of summer. An abundance of Summer Camps positions becomes available at this time. The summer camps begin around late July and follow through August, lasting about 3 or 4 weeks at a time. It is possible to come to Korea with a short term working visa, sponsored by the Employer (C4 visa) – that way, many professional teachers who are on a break from their usual teaching at home can come to Korea.
